Members of the Amador Valley Quilters have access to a library of nearly 600 quilting books, stencils, and DVDs. Each month approximately half of the books are available at our monthly guild meeting, including the newest acquisitions.
To browse a sorted paper copy of the holdings, just visit the Library table during guild meetings. The Librarian will have a binder available which lists the holdings sorted by Title, Author, Subject and New Titles. DVDs and the newly created Archive are also listed separately as well as in the main lists. All of the lists, with the exception of the stencils, may be viewed by using the links below.
We also have nearly 50 quilting stencils which can be borrowed individually – the designs are drawn out in the Library folder or the whole collection may be borrowed for a special group event.
Items may be checked out for one month. Up to 5 items per month can be checked out with a valid current membership card. Select your item(s), and fill out the card(s) from pocket located inside the front cover with the date, your name and phone number. Present the filled out card(s) to an AVQ librarian and show her/him your membership card. As soon as the librarian has verified your membership and that the cards are filled out correctly, you’re all set.
