2026 Opportunity Quilt:  A Garden of Diamonds

Amador Valley Quilters is excited to announce our 2026 opportunity quilt.

The Amador Valley Quilters 2026 opportunity quilt, “A Garden of Diamonds,” is a beautiful and colorful quilt made from a pattern designed by Sue Carter, who runs the Pinwheel Place Retreat Center, in Lockhart, Texas.  The quilt is 65”x85” and uses Kaffe Fassett fabric for the diamond centers, border and backing.  

Raffle ticket sales for the opportunity quilt help to support the organization’s programs and mission.  Ticket donations are $1 per ticket, $5 for 6 tickets, $10 for 15 tickets.  Raffle tickets will be available from AVQ members and at select venues starting on August 1, 2025.  If interested in purchasing raffle tickets, please email opportunityquilt@amadorvalleyquilters.org for additional information.

The raffle will be held at the AVQ 2026 Quilt Show, Quilted Treasures XIX – Quilting with Friends,  on April 26, 2026, at 2pm.
