Amador Valley Quilters 2026 Entry Form Directions:

The Quilt entry for the AVQ April 25 and 26, 2026, quilt show is now closed.  

Categories for the quilts are:   General Quilts; Pass the Envelope; Hold the Envelope; Cats and Ghosts Retreat quilts; Out of the Boxers quilts and National Quilt Block Challenge quilts.

Hanging Sleeve and Identification label:  Before turning in a quilt attach a 4-inch sleeve to the top-back of the quilt (3-inch for the Envelope quilts) and an identification label to the bottom back left side of the quilt.  Instructions for making a sleeve and a copy of the label are available at:

Identification labels will also be available at the December, February and March in-person General Meetings or you can request one from Patricia Lindsey at Avq2026entryforms@gmail.com. 

This is a small quilt show and there may not be enough room for all entries, so quilt entries for the General Quilt Category will be prioritized.  

Entries for the General Quilt Category will need a 4” x 6” color photo of the quilt top.  The pictures can be dropped off at the December and February Guild meetings or mailed to Peggy Arrivas or Patricia Lindsey before February 14.  Include on the photo the name of the quilt maker, the name of the quilt, and the size of the quilt.   

Quilt Receiving and Return: 

General Quilts will be delivered to designated quilt receivers the dates of April 17-20, 2026. The names of the quilt receivers will be in the April 1 newsletter.   Please call the person who will receive your quilt to arrange for a delivery date and time.  The receiver will take your quilt to the quilt show on April 24, 2026, and they will pick up your quilt at the end of the quilt show. You can pick up your quilt at their homes after the show.

If the on-line entry form doesn’t work for you, a paper entry form will be available for pickup at the October and December general meetings or e-mail Patricia Lindsey to request one.

Starting Monday, April 27, 2026 quilts will be ready for pickup at quilt receivers’ houses.  Please call the receiver before you pick up your quilt.
