Quilted Treasures XIX – Quilting with Friends
Amador Valley Quilters hosted our 19th quilt show – Quilted Treasures XIX: Quilting with Friends – on April 25-26, 2026, at the Trinity Church Gymnasium, 557 Olivina Avenue, Livermore, CA.
We had a fabulous quilt show! Over 300 quilts, beautifully arranged in the Trinity Church gymnasium, showed the amazing talent, creativity and artistry of our members. And the warmth and community of members meeting friends and bringing family and friends to the show were amazing. The quilts, raffle baskets, vendors, and Opportunity Quilt thrilled the show attendees.
So many people were involved in planning, promoting and running the show. A HUGE thank you to:
- The dedicated quilt show committee who has been working on show planning for the past year!
- The amazing volunteers and set up crew who worked pre-show assembling racks, hanging quilts, putting up signs, and getting the venue ready for the show – and then reversed the process on Sunday.
- The members who volunteered to staff the show doing everything from selling admissions and raffle tickets to answering questions and helping attendees.
- The vendors – Designer’s Needs, Fabrications, Fat Stitch, Old River Treasures, Photography Fabric, Quilled Paper Treasures, Quilted Otter, and Thimble Creek – who supported the show, selling fabric, jewelry, purses, and more.
- The Friendship Groups who contributed 18 fun raffle baskets that everyone loved.
- Quilts of Valor who did a very moving Quilt of Valor presentation.
- The Livermore Valley Academy at Trinity Church who was so gracious to let us hold our event in their school gymnasium, with the school and church staff providing stellar support before, during and after the show.
- The many members who helped to promote the show, taking our beautiful bookmarks and posters to local quilt shops and giving them to their friends, posting on Facebook, and making sure we were visible in local newspapers and online.
And, last but not least, thank you to all of the members who entered quilts and attended the show. A quilt show is a huge undertaking and the major AVQ fundraiser and is important for our guild, our members, and our larger community. Thank you all!
