His quilts hang in major museums and many private collections. He has written or contributed to a dozen books, appeared widely on TV and internet shows, and has produced his long-running Quilt Freedom Workshop from his gallery and studio in San Francisco. After a lifetime of study in quilt history and technique, Cunningham has developed his own unique style of quilts as art. Sort of. Now that Modern Quilts have been around for a while the world is starting to move on, or maybe it\u2019s just Joe. In this lecture Joe will talk about Modern Quilts and how they have influenced the wider quilt world, explain how he has come to find his own style of \u201cPost\u201d Modern Quilt making.
