Bylaws – Official bylaws of the Amador Valley Quilt Guild

Display Block Instructions – Instructions for the creation of Display Blocks for the Amador Valley Quilt Guild. Display blocks are made by guild members for exhibition in libraries, retirement homes, and other venues throughout the Bay Area.

AVQ COMMITTEE JOB DESCRIPTIONS AND VOLUNTEER FORM. The AVQ volunteer sign-up form contains descriptions for elected and appointed positions. In April, AVQ selects new officers and the president-elect then appoints committee chairpersons. To volunteer for one of these at that time, you can download the PDF form to fill out and turn in at the membership table at the February or March meeting or you can use the electronic form to submit prior to the March meeting.
You can also volunteer to be a committee member and assist the chairperson and submit either form at any time.

General Donation Tax Receipt

Membership Form – AVQ prefers both new and renewing members fill out a Membership Form online. Payment can be made online via credit card, by cash in person at a meeting, or by check in person or by mail. Please send ONLY your check to:  AVQ – Membership, PO Box 955 Pleasanton, CA  94566.  You do NOT need to print out the membership form.

Membership expires annually on May 31st.  
Printed Forms are available at the general meeting if you do not have access to a computer or the internet.

Policies and Procedures Policies and Procedures for the Amador Valley Quilters. These policies and procedures are intended to provide general guidance for guild operations. They are intentionally informal and broad, to encourage creativity and accommodate changing times. These policies and procedures may be changed at any time by a majority vote of the Executive Board.

Quilt Data Forms for Community Quilts – Quilt sizing and gender information forms for quilts donated to Amador Valley Quilter’s Community Quilts committee. Throughout the year, members create quilts which are then given away to individuals in various local charitable organizations. Participation is encouraged for all guild members.
